Student Committee Elections and Elections for the Doctoral Candidate Representation 2024
From 10 to 14 June 2024, the elections for the student council (StuRa), the doctoral students’ representation, the student councils of the faculties EI, IA, MB, MN and WM as well as the student representatives in the faculty councils, in the equal opportunities council of the TU Ilmenau, the senate, in the physics institute councilat the TU Ilmenau on the basis of the Thuringian Higher Education Act and the election regulations of the student body adopted by the student council of the TU Ilmenau in June 2021 in the second amendment version.
Notifications and decisions of the electoral commission, as well as further information, will be announced on the website stura.eu/wahlen. You can also find some information on Instagram and Facebook. The Election Commission consists of Wiebke Reckmann, Falk Matthes and Karl Richard Richter, with Dustin Wiese as Election Commissioner. Deputy member of the Election Commission is Marcel Bernhardt.

Postal Vote
The postal vote can be applied for until 31 May 2024 via stura.eu/briefwahl. The election documents will then be sent to you or can be collected at H 1550 from 3 to 5 June. The election documents must be completed and returned by 14 June, 2 p.m. (receipt by the election commission before the polling stations close!).
Become a Candidate
In order to run for a committee, please use the form deposited with the desired committee and fill in the personal details. Nominations can be submitted to the election committee in the StuRa office (House A 013, Tel. 03677/69-1914) or in the Mailbox until 31 May 2024 at 2 p.m.
The election proposals will be published on this website from 03 June.
Inspection of the Electoral Roll
For the student council, the senate and the equal opportunities council of the TU Ilmenau, all enrolled students are entitled to vote and to stand as candidates; for the student councils of the faculty and faculty councils, members of the respective faculty; for the physics departmental council, all enrolled students of technical physics.
All doctoral candidates are entitled to vote and stand for election to the doctoral candidates’ representation. This is independent of statuses such as student, staff member or external.
If you want to make sure that you are eligible to vote, you can inspect the electoral roll in the H 1550 from 17 May to 31 May. At the following times we are in the H 1550 for you:
